  • Author Talks

    The session is about the writing process, Shipshape, and other fun things about creativity and writing. Includes Q&A.

    Time: 30 min- 1 hour

    For: one class, multiple classes, whole school

  • Writing Workshops

    In this session, we will work on a piece of writing together and individually to build writing skills and strategies.

    Time: 1-2 hours, half day, full day

    For: small groups, whole class

  • Creativity Workshops

    Let your creative spirit run free. I’ll help you find and develop your creative voice through storytelling, art, and writing.

    Time: 1-2 hours, half day, full day

    For: Teachers and/or student classes or groups.

 

Coming Soon: Book Clubs

  • Teachers

    This online book club for teachers explores the pedagogical side of Shipshape and provides opportunities for teachers to share strategies and develop lessons for their students focused on the book with me as your guide. Teachers will receive a certificate indicating 5 PD hours.

  • Kids

    Join an online book club with E.E. Dowd, the author of Shipshape. Let’s read and talk about the book together. All kids who participate will receive an official book club certificate, signed bookplate to add to their book, and a bookmark.

  • Families

    It’s a Shipshape book club for the whole family. Kids bring an adult, and we’ll chat about taking action in the community, coding you can do at home, and fun ways to connect ideas from the book as a family. It’s all online too!
