Legit Kid Lit Draw Off
What do you get when you add three authors, a crazy wheel of topics, and two hilarious hosts together? You get the Legit Kid Lit Draw Off and a whole lot of fun.
I was recently invited to participate as an author along with the amazing Darlene Beck Jacobson and Sam Subity. Now, normally Alexis and Tiffany (the fabulous hosts) invite very talented illustrators to share their artistic talent. The author draw offs are a bit different but just as fun. I think they are actually more fun because there is absolutely no pressure to draw anything well.
You have to see this in action to fully understand the brilliance of this experience, but I will say, the wheel is something I will definitely use in the future for my own creativity and working with schools. Check it out and let me know what you think.
